#1 Dream Journal <-link
Before you can even think about lucid dreaming you first need to be able to remember your dreams! In order to improve your dream recall and increase the chances of becoming lucid in your dreams you first need to keep a dream journal. I cannot stress how important this step is. If you skip journaling, than you are basically throwing away your chances of becoming lucid.

#2 Question Reality <-link
Now that you have got into the habit of writing down your dreams every day you are ready to move on! Questioning your reality everyday is the most simple and effective way to lucid dream. You see, when you question your reality when you see things that are a little "off", that habit will transition over to your dreams.
So in a dream if you see a tiger, a lion, and a bear in your living room you will question whether or not you're dreaming by performing a reality check and then BAM! You're lucid! You may be asking, what is a reality check?!? It is actually quite simple to explain. It is basically a physical or mental action that you can do to determine wether or not you are dreaming. For example, my favorite RC to do is called the nose-pinch reality check. All you have to do is pinch your nose and try to breathe through it. Yep, it's that simple! If you can breathe through your nose than that obviously means that you are dreaming. That is only one RC and there are many, many more.

DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream)<-link
Everything that you have been doing so far has prepared you for this moment! You are well on your way on becoming a full-fledged lucid dreamer. Watch the video below to learn how to put together everything you learned into one technique. Don't worry about trying different techniques now. In fact, many pro lucid dreamers use DILD, this method I'm about to explain, because it is the most simple and reliable method. People have reported that they can easily achieve a LD every night by using DILD. They didn't just start being able to lucid dream overnight though. It took practice, so I recommend that you practice DILD for at least 6 months before you give up on it. WHAT! Six months!?! Yes, one of the most important aspects of lucid dreaming is to stick to a technique. If you keep switching around and jumping from one technique to the other you aren't going to get anywhere.
Remember, just because a technique is in the "Other Tutorials" section doesn't mean that it will give you a higher chance of a lucid dream. The "Other Tutorials" section is just there to make the website more organized. After you have a few LDs by using DILD, feel free to head over to the other section.
I have been lucid dreaming for many years and I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that if you stick to DILD you will start to have many lucid dreams in no time!
