WBTB (Wake Back To Bed)<-link
Summary:
The WBTB technique is mainly used as a suplemental technique. In order to WBTB you have to set an alarm to wake you up during the night. When you wake up you want to get out of bed and do something. It can be as little as going to the restroom, or it can be as much as reading a book. Just make sure you stay away from electronics. You want to stay up until you feel like you can fall asleep quickly. When you lay back down to go to bed repeat a mantra such as, "I am lucid during the next dream" until you fall asleep.
Who this works best for:
WBTB works for everyone, because all you're doing during a WBTB is activating your conscious mind in the middle of the night to greatly improve your chances of become lucid.

MILD (Mnemonically Induced Lucid Dream)<-link
Summary:
The MILD technique was invented by Stephen LaBerge. This technique uses your focus and intent to induce lucid dreams with reality checks.
Who this works best for:
This technique works best for people with good memory and dream recall. If you are the kind of person that can go to the grocery store and buy everything you need without a list; this technique would be perfect for you! Of couse anybody can learn how to increase their memory, so if you do not have great memory there is no need to worry!

WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream)<-link
Summary:
The WILD technique is considered to be more of an advanced technique in the lucid dreaming community. Do not be discouraged though because if you have the confidence than you will succeed! So what is WILD? A WILD is basically when you trick your mind into thinking that your body has fallen asleep. During this process you may encounter hypnogogic imagery, paralysis, and other strange sights and sounds. Do not fear though because everything is all in your head! The best time to WILD is after falling asleep, so many people join WILD with WBTB, because if they fail and fall asleep their chances of having a lucid dream is still increased. It is best to WILD after you fall asleep because when you wake up again durring the night you will be closer to a REM stage (time when you dream). In addition, it will also be easier for your body and mind to relax enough for the WILD to be successful.
Who this works best for:
Anybody can WILD, but from what I have learned people who have good self-discipline usually succeed at WILDing, because during a WILD attempt your mind will send very powerful signals to your body to try and get you to move. In addition, it would be beneficial to be good at visualization, because in some cases that is required to form a dreamscape. Don't worry though, everything takes practice and so does WILD. Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work the first few (or several) of times!
Side Note:
Before you watch the video, I am going to let you know that not everybody feels sleep paralysis and it is not mandatory to WILD. If you don't feel SP you shouldn't worry. I am a good example of somebody who does not feel SP and I WILD perfectly fine. Right now you probably have no idea what I'm saying, but don't worry! You will after you watch the video!

DEILD (Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream)
Summary:
The DEILD technique is based off the fact that when you exit a dream your brain stays in its REM state. You can use this to your advantage by staying still to re-enter the dream that you just exited from. Most lucid dreamers use this method after their lucid dream ends so that they can quickly transition into another dream consciously. The best part is that the whole process takes only a few seconds!
Who this works best for:
Anyone can use this technique, because everyone's brain stays in its REM phase after waking up from a dream.
