You become lucid. Now what? Well, the first thing you want to do is "anchor" yourself to the dream. When I say anchor, I mean that you need to put ALL of your being into the dream. You may be asking yourself, why/how do I have to stabilize a dream? The answer is actually very simple. If you want your lucid dream to last longer than a minute, you have to stabilize. If you want to be able to control your dream, you have to stabilize. If you want your dream to look more vivid than real life, you have to stabilize. I will go so far as to say that if you want to do anything in your lucid dream, you have to stabilize. So now that you are starting to get a feeling of why stabilizing is important I hope that you will read on.
Ok, so how do I stabilize a dream? It is actually quite a simple act, but it also a very powerful one. After you become lucid you just want to relax. Try not to get excited or else you may wake up (it may take a few lucid dreams to get used to not getting excited). After you control your emotions it is time to stabilize. First take a close look at your hand. Try to see every small detail. Then shout "INCREASE CLARITY" and your dream will become much clearer. Keep doing this until you feel like you are at the absolute max clarity. After you do that, try to touch everything you can in your dream. Really try to feel it. Go through this process for all of your senses and you should be successfully anchored into your dream. Right now it may sound like work, but if you want your dream to amount to anything you have to do these steps. Every lucid dreamer learns this either by themselves or with a resource, and this site is that resource for your. Congratulations on stabilizing your dream, have fun!
